PolarDeck, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Our Mobile Applications (each, an "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using any of Our Mobile Applications, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you use the App, we may collect:

• A unique user identifier, created automatically when you first open the App (even before you create an account)

• Your email address, if you choose to create an account or sign in with email and password

• Basic profile information provided by Apple, if you choose to sign in with "Sign in with Apple"

Study Progress and App Usage Data

To provide the App's core features, we store:

• Which BLET blocks you have viewed or completed

• Your flashcard review status (e.g., "Known" or "Still Learning") for each learning objective

• Your practice question results and quiz history

• Your free block selection (if applicable to your subscription tier)

This information is stored so your progress is saved across sessions and, if you sign in, across devices.

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a subscription, our payment processing partner (RevenueCat) collects and processes information necessary to manage your subscription, including your purchase history and subscription status. We do not have access to your payment card details — these are handled directly by Apple's App Store.

Automatically Collected Information

We use Firebase (a service provided by Google) to store and sync your account and progress data securely. Firebase may automatically collect limited technical information necessary for the App to function, such as device identifiers used for authentication.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features

• Save and sync your study progress across sessions and devices

• Manage your subscription and verify your access to paid features

• Respond to support requests

• Maintain the security and integrity of the App

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising or to build profiles for third-party marketing purposes.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:

• Google Firebase — for authentication, data storage, and syncing your progress

• RevenueCat — for managing subscriptions and in-app purchases

• Apple — for processing App Store purchases and, if used, Sign in with Apple

These providers process your information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PolarDeck, LLC, our users, or others.

Data Retention

We retain your account and progress information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the App's features. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Choices" below).

Your Choices

• Access and deletion: You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below.

• Account deletion: Deleting your account will remove your saved progress and subscription-linked data from our systems, except where we are required to retain records (for example, for tax or legal purposes related to purchases).

Children's Privacy

Our Mobile Applications is intended for adults preparing for law enforcement training and certification. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including relying on Firebase's industry-standard security practices for authentication and data storage. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
